Locally popular as the Government Park, Bharathi Park is located in the heart of the old colonial town. It is a famous picnic spot in Pondicherry, frequently visited by locals and tourists. You can visit the park from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM. The Aayi Mandapam or the park monument built in Greco-Roman architecture is an important attraction of the park. Located in the middle of the park, it is the most preferred spot to click pictures and capture the beauty of the surroundings.
